Capital FM boss Farida Idris Mohamed in trouble for plotting to kill husband

Notorious Commercial Director at Capital FM Farida Idris Mohamed is in trouble with the court for plotting to kill her ex-lover contrary to the law.

The court heard that Farida vowed to kill her husband with her own hands, and if he failed to die, she would hire some hitmen to complete the process of murder.

She is said to have sent the complainant the said text messages with the intention of preparing him for his death.

When he appeared before Milimani Chief Magistrate Lucas Onyin, she denied all seven counts of threatening to kill her former lover, Hussein Aila Amaro, and pleaded for lenient bond terms.

According to the charge sheet read in court, the accused person committed the offence. The court heard that she is alleged to have committed the offence knowingly and intentionally.

The prosecution told the court that Farida committed the offence in June 2019. Farida sent Amaro, indicating she would eliminate him with another person identified as Swarna. In the first count, Farida was charged that on June 14, 2019, at 10:14 hours at an unknown place within the Republic of Kenya without lawful excuses caused Hussein to receive a short message through the Safaricom line with

“Now tell me what the f*ck you will do to me and you’ll see I will finish you and bloody Swarna combined,” threatening to kill him. “ On June 14, 2019, at 19:30 hours at an unknown place within the Republic of Kenya without lawful excuses, Farida directly caused Hussein to receive a short message (SMS) to his Safaricom line to wit

”I will kill you with my own hands and drag your body on the hot tarmac until nobody can recognise that rotten body of yours, then bury you before you proceed to threatening to kill him,” the charge sheet reads. She faces charges of sending five other threatening messages to the complainant on June 14, 2019, and June 15, 2019. Farida is said to have wetted the complainants’ bed several times before they divorced. More details will be revealed during the hearing of the case.

She pleaded to the court through her advocate, Peter Wanyam, for a lenient bond term.

The magistrate released her on Sh300,000 with an alternative cash bail of Sh100,000.

The case will proceed later next month
